Bartlett Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Chief Human Resource Officer.
The CHRO is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation.
The position is one of high responsibility for providing reliable, economical human resource services and procedures to the Cooperative. The CHRO must have a demonstrated leadership quality, thorough knowledge of all aspects of cooperative human resource practices and personnel management, including payroll and employee benefits.
This position requires at least ten (10) years’ experience in human resources, preferably with an electric cooperative or utility and at least five (5) years’ experience in a related supervisory position. Additionally, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, human resource degree preferred, is required, but work applicable work experience in a rural cooperative may substitute for degree at BEC’s discretion. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP or higher) and/or HRCI Professional in Human Resources (PHR or higher) certification is preferred but not required.

Bartlett Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for a Member Service Representative (MSR) position. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, well-organized, reliable, and must be familiar with computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in Customer Service or a related field is a plus but is not required.
A Member Service Representative will be responsible for greeting Members and the general public who may visit the office, be able to establish new member accounts and communicate effectively with Members regarding both BEC’s electricity and broadband offerings. Communication with Members includes issues relating to high bill complaints, general service issues and metering issues. A Member Service Representative is also responsible for having knowledge of the cooperative’s tariffs and various rate structures. Finally, the MSR will be responsible for effectively working with other Member Service Representatives, the Member Service Supervisor and various Departments within the organization.
