Bartlett Electric Cooperative, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an IT Security Supervisor position in BEC’s Communications Department. This position is one of high responsibility for reliable, economical services. Members are both internal and external for this position.
The IT Security Supervisor must be able to dynamically oversee the IT infrastructure for the internet service provider subsidiary, BEC Communications, LLC, and the internal Cooperative network. Experience operating virtual environments utilizing VMWare and Windows’ Hypervisor is preferred. Must be well-organized and possess a high degree of attention to detail. Fiber to the Home and Electrical Substation SCADA communications experience is a plus.
Position requires at least five (5) years’ experience in a computer-related field. An Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field is preferred, but work experience may substitute. Supervisory experience is necessary as this position is responsible for overseeing and developing personnel in BEC’s Information Technology Department.
